You Know Something Has to Change — Because Nothing Changes If Nothing Changes
She’s doing everything. For everyone.
The job. The family. The logistics. The expectations. It all rests on her shoulders and she carries it well. Most days, no one would guess she’s running on empty.
And yet under the surface, something’s not sitting right. She is not broken. There’s no drama. Life just feels off.
A quiet knowing that something isn’t working. A longing she can’t quite name. A deep breath she hasn’t taken in what feels like years.
If that’s you, I want you to know this:
You’re not stuck because you’re weak. You’re stuck because you’ve been strong for too long and you continue to do what you’ve always done, hoping it will finally feel different.
If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.
And lovely, you deserve more than just surviving.
The thing is, nothing changes if nothing changes.
You don’t need more time. Or more hustle. You need a shift.
It doesn’t have to be a big and dramatic overhaul. Often it starts with the smallest action like setting a new boundary, implementing a new belief or deciding to speak to yourself differently.
That’s where the magic begins. Not in doing more, but in doing things differently.
This chapter of your life is not wrong. It’s simply asking for something new from you.
So What Now?
This is where coaching becomes powerful and no, not in a polished, Pinterest-quote kind of way. I mean in the real, messy, beautiful process of helping you see clearly again. It’s about asking the right questions. It’s about shifting from “I don’t know what to do” to “I know what I need.”
When I work with clients who are navigating this space, we go deep into the things that actually move the needle:
- Confidence that comes from aligned action
- Self-esteem that’s no longer tied to perfection
- Clarity about who you are outside of the roles you play
I don’t give advice. I hold up a mirror. I ask better questions. I help you see the choices that have always been yours.
Like Marie Forleo says:
“The key to success is to start before you’re ready.”
You don’t need a five-step plan or perfect clarity. You need a spark. A nudge. A willingness to say, something has to change, even if you’re not quite sure what it looks like yet.
That moment, the one between school drop-off and your third coffee, that’s where it begins. Quietly. Powerfully. With you.
5 Small Shifts That Spark Big Change
Here are five things you can start doing this week that will move you forward and without adding more to your plate.
Notice Where You’re Numbing
Where are you going through the motions? Where does your spark feel dimmed? What feels like you are on autopilot. Once you become self-aware you are then in a position to do something about it.
Challenge the “This Is Just How It Is” Belief
That voice in your head saying, “This is what life looks like now”? Challenge it. Life doesn’t stop evolving and neither should you. We always have options. It’s time for you to be open so that you can see them.
Let One Thing Go
One expectation. One commitment. One belief that’s no longer serving you. You don’t have to let go of everything, just start with one.
Say the Thing You’ve Been Avoiding
To your partner. To a friend. To yourself. Say it. Speak it out loud. Truth creates movement.
Find the Version of You You’ve Forgotten
Who were you before the titles? Before the roles? Before the pressure? She’s still there. Go find her.
And in the words of Oprah Winfrey:
“The greatest discovery of all time is that a person can change their future by merely changing their attitude.”
That future, the one you’ve quietly dreamed of, starts with a decision. A choice to stop settling for stuck. A willingness to explore something different.
If any of this has struck a chord, don’t brush it off. Listen to that voice. Honour it.
I offer free discovery calls, not to sell you anything but to hold space for you. To help you reflect, recalibrate and explore what’s next. No pressure, no fixing and definitely no fluff. Just support.
