Why can I help you?
Back in 2016, the one thing I knew for certain was that I was exhausted. I was on what I now call the treadmill of life. I’d got stuck. I wasn’t living life. I was just existing. Going through the motions. I don’t mean to paint a bleak picture. Because I was happy. It just wasn’t exactly what I wanted.
And so, my journey began. Shaping my life to be what I wanted it to be.
This is going to sound like a cliché but I now feel more comfortable in my skin. I feel better mentally and physically. And for me, it all comes down to mindset. The way I talk to myself. The way I view things. Being open to what could be. Being aware of my actions and reactions. And so, I can be the best I can be. One of the most important things is that I can be the best mum to my kids. Not perfect. Just the best I can be.
I know that I’m not alone in how I felt. You see, as mums, we’re very good at putting the needs of everyone else ahead of our own. It’s what we do. It’s in our DNA. After all, back in the day whilst the men were out hunting the women were looking after things. It’s our default position.
That’s why I now help other mums who are feeling the same. Who are stuck. Who want to make changes. But don’t know where to start.
Using my journey of figuring things out I am now able to help others.

Weathering the Storm in 4 Easy Steps is about giving you the space and permission to put yourself first for once.
It’s the opportunity to look at your life and acknowledge that there are some positives as well as being brave and facing up to your challenges. But just as importantly it’s about celebrating you and being kind to you.
This 4 part structured online course is an opportunity for you to reflect on truly what is going on in your life.

How does it work?
There are 4 parts to Weathering the Storm in 4 Easy Parts.
PART 1 – Look for the Silver Linings
It’s about finding the positives in today’s environment and really focusing on the joy of what today could bring. That way we can better be in the moment plus when we’re having a grey day we can recall what has made us happy to help bring back some balance.
PART 2 – Keep calm and ride the wave
It’s about identifying the negatives in today’s environment and seeing how you can improve your response to them. That way it’s less about reacting and more about acceptance so that we’re less likely to use up emotional energy on the things that we are unable to control.
PART 3 – Follow the wind of change
This task is about taking what you’ve identified in the first two tasks and doing something about it. Being proactive and either making the changes now so that you can really enjoy the positives or taking up the challenge to resolve the negative elements of now.
PART 4 – Find the rainbow
And finally, it’s about you. It’s about loving you, being kind to you and celebrating you.
